Entry Requirements for India

Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter India. Citizens of many countries are eligible to apply for an Indian e-Visa, which allows short-term visits for purposes such as tourism, business, conferences, or medical travel. The e-Visa is generally valid for short stays of up to 60–90 days depending on the visa category and must be obtained online prior to arrival in India.
